A short film, (faith-based/inspirational story) about Dr. Gerald Ervin’s journey and hospitalization with COVID and the effects of the virus. In March 2020, Gerald Ervin took ill and was hospitalized for 3 1/2 weeks in the Ascension St. John Hospital system. While hospitalized he became very ill developing blood clots and losing oxygen. Hospital staff discussions surrounded placing him on a ventilator. Gerald was unable to see any family per COVID guidelines in the state of Michigan. His wife, Carol was unsure if he would make it back home; however, she held on to her faith.
