“Got It Got It” is a music video shot and edited by students from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, USA for artist DarriusTheGreatest and music producer tTopicana. The concept was first developed by director Pong Tulyathan as a way to visualize the mental health issues DarriusTheGreatest faced as a teenager and young rapper, and how Darrius eventually overcame them. A few years ago, Darrius was sent to mental therapy shortly after trying to take his own life. Pong wanted to tell this story in order to visually communicate the idea that when the actions and advice of others are more harmful than helpful, we must turn to our own intuitions to heal.
