Aidan Blackwood, a crime journalist, is working on a murder case and receives a distressed call from his former mentor, William “Bill” Hastings instructing him to find some important documents containing evidence which would incriminate Aidan’s ex-wife, Mary Blackwood. Aidan embarks on a journey of discovery to find the documents Bill had gathered, only to realise that his wife is suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder. He discovers that she has committed the murders that he has been reporting on whilst in her alter personality of Marilyn Monroe. Aidan evades the police and traces her down to an abandoned theatrical stage where he finds her dancing, whilst bleeding to death. Shocked and in horror, Aidan attempts to reconcile with her as she dies in his arms confessing to her crime.
