Although his arms were lost in a work accident, Germán never surrendered. Nowadays he has become a man tormented and close to madness: Izan, his 9 years old little boy, suffers a cancer with little hope of a cure.

Emotional and sensory, the Izan short film shows aspects related to overcoming, resilience, divine and secular unreasons, friendship, love, unreality and dream confusion. Structurally based on Germán’s nightmares, and thanks to the support of Leonor, his wife and the true engine of the family, the film tries to show the consequences and the pain that parents can suffer when they face with an event as unfair as the loss of a child of their own.
