Don Fernando, an old tango dancer well known in the milongas of Buenos Aires, spends his nights sitting quietly at his table. Nobody has seen him dancing for many years. One night he suddenly sees a couple of young dancers that recall him the past times when he used to be a young and active dancer. That night he finally decides to invite a woman for a dance through the “cabeceo” ( the code for the dance invitation). Getting back to the dance floor after so many years makes him want to tell his story to the lady he dances with, who eventually gets to know the very intimate reason why he had stopped dancing. His secret is the story of an unforgotten and unexpressed love, so personal but so common among the tango dancers of Buenos Aires.
