Astrid nervously enters a small, eclectic clothing store and learns that her ex, Paolo, is in the dressing room. When he emerges, confidently presenting in a different style she is used to- Astrid is stunned and tries to leave, triggering a raw, public argument overheard by strangers. As we learn it is not about the clothes, Paolo pleads for their love to survive his physical transformation, while Astrid confronts a painful truth: she cannot be in a relationship with a man and is still grieving the woman her partner once was, leaving both of them exposed at the fault line between love, identity, and loss.
