A disciple noticed by Herbie Hancock, a pianist once on Frank Sinatra’s stage—his name is Yoonseong Cho, yet in music, he becomes nothing less than jazz itself.
From the grandeur of the Sejong Center to the quiet of a teahouse in Seochon, from a workshop in Jeju to a lecture hall at Seoul National University— he rewrites every piece, rebirths every stage. Bossa nova and tango, haegeum and chang, the Chinese erhu, classical traditions and the jazz ensemble— all converge in his hands to breathe as one.
He paints as if playing, and plays as if painting. Photography, cooking, even the smallest gestures of daily life become part of his art. “JAZZme” is a portrait of endless practice and fearless improvisation— a life where creation itself never rests.
